On Saturday’s match against Vancouver Whitecaps, Portland fans can try battered cod and haddock, courtesy of The Frying Scotsman.
Not known to many due to the passage of time, there is a redirected creek running under, in some areas mere feet under, JELD-WEN Field. Tanner Creek, a naturally occurring stream that drains the West Hills and empties into the Willamette River, lies just under the stadium though that wasn’t always the case.
Portland State Athletics and Comcast SportsNet Northwest have an agreement to televise four Viking home football games this fall. All four games will be live on CSNNW (channel 37/HD737 on Comcast systems).
The fans have spoken!
The first four food carts to serve at JELD-WEN Field through the Portland Timbers Food Cart Alliance (PTFCA) have been chosen via Facebook fan vote.The first food cart will serve at the August 5 match.
Each food cart will offer a selection of their specialty items at the Soccer City Grill concession stand on the east side of the stadium.

Little Timbers Fan Club gets special day at JELD-WEN Field
Smack in the middle of Portland’s Goose Hollow neighborhood, JELD-WEN Field is home to the Portland Timbers, the Portland State Vikings and formerly, gaggles of geese.
The Facing the Crowd statues act as not only a frame for JELD-WEN Field, but also as a reflection of the entertainment found inside and Portland’s commitment to the arts.
