PORTLAND, Ore. – Major League Soccer today unveiled the full 34-game, 2018 regular-season schedule for the Portland Timbers. The Timbers kick off the 2018 season with an away match against the LA Galaxy on Sunday, March 4, at the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. Beginning at 7 p.m. (Pacific), the Timbers’ season-opening match against the Galaxy will be televised nationally on FS1.
PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Timbers will play host to Minnesota United FC at Providence Park in the club’s 2018 home opener on Saturday, April 14, it was announced today as MLS unveiled details for each club’s home-opening match for its 23rd season. The match against Minnesota is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. (Pacific).
Additionally, the Timbers announced that the team will play its first game of the season on Sunday, March 4, taking on the LA Galaxy at the StubHub Center at 7 p.m. (Pacific).
PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Timbers and Portland Thorns FC today announced a new 12-year partnership with Levy as the exclusive hospitality partner for all concessions, premium seating and catering at Providence Park, beginning in January 2018.

With construction on the new Providence Park east side expansion running throughout the Timbers and Thorns 2017-2018 offseason, beginning today, both team stores have now moved and opened on the northwest corner just inside Gate 4.
The store takes over six different suites on the first floor, each built around specific areas and themes related to the team(s) with merchandise on hand for both Timbers and Thorns and available throughout the upcoming holiday season and into the offseason.

The Rose City Kickball Classic, presented by the Portland Timbers and Thorns FC and partnering with Recesstime Sports Leagues begins July 7-8, 2017 at Providence Park. Teams will take to the Providence Park pitch to square off in a friendly tournament with raffle prizes and numerous team awards up for grabs.

PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland Thorns FC today announced details for the Thorns Spring Invitational, presented by Tillamook, at Providence Park. Taking place from March 26-April 1, the second-annual, four-team tournament features Thorns FC, the U.S. U-23 Women’s National Team, Chicago Red Stars and Houston Dash.

Taking place from Feb. 9-15, the Timbers preseason tournament will feature Portland, Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Real Salt Lake and 2017 MLS expansion side Minnesota United FC.
