The Rose City Kickball Classic, presented by the Portland Timbers and Thorns FC and partnering with Recesstime Sports Leagues begins July 7-8, 2017 at Providence Park. Teams will take to the Providence Park pitch to square off in a friendly tournament with raffle prizes and numerous team awards up for grabs.

PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland Thorns FC today announced details for the Thorns Spring Invitational, presented by Tillamook, at Providence Park. Taking place from March 26-April 1, the second-annual, four-team tournament features Thorns FC, the U.S. U-23 Women’s National Team, Chicago Red Stars and Houston Dash.

The Vikings will open the season with a pair of FBS opponents sure to be popular with local fans, and conclude with four straight opponents who were participants in this year's FCS Playoffs.
PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Timbers today announced details of their sixth-annual preseason tournament at Providence Park, as well as the club’s preseason schedule of games in Tucson, Ariz. Taking place from Feb. 9-15, the Timbers preseason tournament will feature Portland, Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Real Salt Lake and 2017 MLS expansion side Minnesota United FC.

PORTLAND, Ore. – Major League Soccer today announced that the Portland Timbers’ home match against the Colorado Rapids at Providence Park on Sunday, Oct. 16, will be televised nationally on ESPN, beginning at 2 p.m. (Pacific).
PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland Thorns FC will play host to a to-be-determined opponent in the semifinals of the 2016 NWSL playoffs on Sunday, Oct. 2, at Providence Park. Set to kickoff at 2 p.m. (Pacific), the semifinal match will be broadcast live on FS1. The match will be presented by Tillamook Ice Cream.
PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Timbers will begin play in Group B of the 2016-17 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League at home against C.D. Dragon of El Salvador on Wednesday, Aug. 3, it was announced today as CONCACAF unveiled the competition’s full group-stage schedule.
Following their tournament-opening home match, the Timbers will travel for a pair of road matches to face Costa Rica’s Club Deportivo Saprissa at Estadio Ricardo Saprissa in San Jose, Costa Rica, on Wednesday, Sept. 14, and C.D. Dragon at Estadio Athletico Las Delicias in Santa Tecla, El Salvador, on Tuesday, Sept. 27.
Portland concludes group play with a home match against Saprissa at Providence Park on Wednesday, Oct. 19.
Beginning at the Portland Thorns FC match against the Chicago Red Stars on June 22, 2016, all guests entering Providence Park will be subject to new enhanced security screening procedures, including metal detector screening prior to admittance to all Thorns & Portland Timbers matches. The new security measures are being put in place at all MLS soccer venues.
With the new policies in place, we are encouraging all fans to arrive extra early for matches to minimize wait times and potential delays entering Providence Park. Remember, early entry into the stadium for Timbers matches includes concession discounts—courtesy of Simple—of up to 25 percent on all concessions beginning the hour after the first gates open (e.g. between 5:30-6:30 p.m. for a 7:30 p.m. match).
